Honolulu Symphony Toyota Pops To Play LOST Music

An ABC press release announced composer Michael Giacchio brings the music of LOST to Honolulu, where it will be played by the Honolulu Symphony Toyota Pops, conducted by Tim Simonec. Terry O’Quinn will be a guest, narrating passages while the music plays.

If you’ve been to Magiclamp.org before, you know how much I like the show LOST… but I have to ask: What could Terry O’Quinn (that’s Locke, for you LOST newbies) be narrating during a concert like that? Haiku? Poems? Limericks?

There was once a man named Locke,
Who pressed numbers in front of clock,
He decided he was wrong,
Pressing those numbers so long,
And in the end was in for a shock.

Nah, I don’t see it.

Anyway, the concert is on Saturday, Sept 22, 2007 at 7:30 at the Waikiki Shell.

Lost: The Video Game Details revealed

Electronic gaming monthly has more details on Ubisoft’s Lost video game.   The central character of the game isn’t one of the main characters from the show.  You’ll play a photo-journalist with amnesia, trying to figure out what happened to your memory, and why you’re on the island.   You’ll interact with the main characters from the show, dodge The Others andThe Smoke Monster, and solve puzzles along the way.

The game’s story was plotted by Carlton Cuse and Damon Lindelof, the executive producers for LOST, and it’s due out early next year.

Jeff Fahey Joins The LOST Cast

Jeff Fahey
Jeff Fahey, perhaps most famous for his roles in Lawnmower Man and Grindhouse, is joining the cast of LOST for season 4.

Here are some more of the people who are joining for season 4 of LOST: Jeremy Davies (Saving Private Ryan), Lance Reddick (The Wire), Ken Leung (The Sopranos), and British actress Rebecca Mader (The Devil Wears Prada, Love Monkey).

Any thoughts on what all these people are going to be doing? Off hand, I’d say most (if not all) are going to going to arrive on the island from that boat that’s floating around out there….

Doc Jensen investigates LOST rumors

Over at Doc Jensen’s blog on EW.com, he’s working on looking at what’s behind the LOST rumors that are going around these days, including:

  • Is Lost moving to 9pm on Friday
  • Has Peter Stormane (he played Abruzzi on Prison Break) been offered a role on LOST?
  • What about Forest Whitaker? Is he joining LOST?

Want the answers? Better head over there, he did the hard work. I’m just gonna point you at it.

Season 4 Sneak Peek: Orientation Film For The Orchid

LOST SPOILERS AHEAD

I was finally able to find a copy of “The Orchid” orientation film that was shown at Comic Con, and I have to say that previous reports on what was in this video didn’t do what was actually happening justice.

Watch for yourself in this embedded video:

From what happened in this film, I think it’s pretty clear they’re trying to screw around with time in some way. “Edgar Halowax” (who we know was calling himself “Marvin Candle” in one of the other films) is REALLY freaked out about seeing that rabbit with the number 15 on it. He said that the two rabbits shouldn’t get near each other… Why would that be? Could there be some kind of paradox of two things from a time shift meeting each other? What would happen?

Another thing I noticed was this frame in the middle of the video:

Subliminal messages? What? Would the Dharma people do that? Nah…….

Update: More subliminal pictures

Here’s another… (Sure looks like Gerald DeGroot to me):

and another (the Hanso building?):

and one more (the Others compound?):

More LOST Info Coming to Comic Con

The San Diego Comic Con panel on LOST season 4 is coming on July 26th, so if you’re headed there, be prepared.

BuddyTV is reporting several interesting LOST-related items:

That LOST video game is coming out after all.  The game’s storyline was written by Dawn Kelly, one of the writer’s of the episode “Maternity Leave”.   The game will use the Crytek graphics rendering engine, the one used in the game “Far Cry”.

There will be a preview of the LOST Season Three DVD, subtitled “The Unexplored Edition”, and they might show some of the Extras off at the convention.
