The latest message from the Carlton and Damon:

Hey, guys. Happy Holidays.

One of the fun things about shooting the show in Hawaii is how completely inconsequential Mother Nature makes us feel. This week a landslide hit one of our upcoming locations, and now we can’t shoot there for a couple of weeks while the site is restored. In season two it rained for a truly Biblical 42 straight days and nights, which required lots of schedule revisions, and when that wasn’t possible our fearless crew put on their wading boots and shot for days on end in mud that was literally knee deep and higher.

Speaking of mud, this week our exclusive video for you features OUR ANSWERS to YOUR QUESTIONS, which many of you sadly will find maddeningly obtuse and muddy. Other LOST fans, like our mothers for example, will find our answers sparking, insightful and maybe even amusing.

And finally, based on how popular the last sneak peek was, we also have another exclusive look at a scene from the premiere episode. Click on the link below, enter the password, and all will be revealed. Enjoy. And until next week…

Aloha,

Damon and Carlton

Spoilers in video #3!

I’m sure you can guess who this is:

But who are these guys? Watch the video to video to find out!

Last Chance -SPOILERS AHEAD
Whoa! Lawyers coming to Kate’s door looking to verify her parenthood? After thinking it over, I’d have to say this is the work of Charles Widmore, because besides the Oceanic 6, there are no other people that really know that Aaron is not really Kate’s son. If it’s NOT Widmore… who else could it possibly be?

I was a little surprised Kate went out by the front door, because there’s no way someone’s NOT watching Kate’s house.

All in all, I think that sets up a REALLY good reason for Kate to get back to the island, if nothing else then to evade the people that are looking for her. One has to wonder whether the other Oceanic survivors will have similar encounters!

New LOST Poster for Season 5

This is the new LOST poster posted earlier tonight on Ain’t It Cool News. I really love this poster. On the one side, you have Ben, Sayid, Kate, Jack, Sun, Hurley and Desmond. On the other, Locke, Charlotte, Sawyer, Juliet, Daniel and Miles.

The people on the right side all seem to be looking for something. Locke is looking for his purpose. Charlotte is looking for her past (remember when we got the hint last season that she had been on the island before?), Sawyer is just trying to figure out where he fits in. Juliet is looking for a way to leave. Daniel is looking for answers for what the heck the island is. Miles is looking for …well, that’s a little tough. On the one hand he’s looking for some money (probably a gambling debt is my guess), but he sure does have a unique insight to all the dead folks walking around.

I’m not sure how to classify the people on the left side of the poster. They’re all strong-willed, or have grown so because of their time on the island.

What do you think of that poster?

  • Claire, Michael and, Jin are off the show as regulars (but we all know they’ll likely show up off and on anyway…)

When Is LOST Coming Back? January 21, 2009

People have been asking me when LOST is coming back for Season 5… I just got word (Thanks Andy!) that it’s going to premiere on January 21st, 2009… Which is a Wednesday! It’s back on Wednesdays… Thank goodness too, because at the rate I’m recording things on Thursday night I was going to have to invest in another DVR just to keep up with things.

There are going to be 17 episodes this coming season, and it’s going to kick off with a two-hour premiere! Can’t wait!

Reiko Aylesworth Joins LOST

As most of you know, the two shows I comment on the most around here are “24” and “LOST“. Apart from the 24/LOST parody episode, I never thought the two shows would cross paths… but I was wrong! No, we’re not going to have Jack galloping through the island, and the smoke monster isn’t going to be chasing Chloe around (I think… you can never tell with “24”). What we ARE going to see is Reiko Aylesworth, who played Michelle Dessler on “24”, in her new role as Amy. Amy is described as ” a smart and successful professional woman with a love for the outdoors who is looking for the right man.”

Sounds like someone who’ll be interested in both Jack and Sawyer… competition for Kate, maybe? We’ll see!
