What Happens To LOST During A Writer’s Strike?

Variety is saying that LOST might be one of the few shows that won’t be in repeats because of the late start (February 2008) of next season.

LOST should have seven episodes done by the end of this month, and had been hoping to have all 16 episodes run straight through with no repeats next year. If there’s a writer’s strike, that might not happen as planned.

Carlton Cuse, one of the executive producers of LOST, is on the panel negotiating for a new Writer’s Guild contract.

Daniel Dae Kim Apologizes for Arrest

Daniel Dae Kim
Daniel Dae Kim, who earlier this week was arrested for drunk driving has issued this statement:

“I am deeply ashamed and embarrassed by my actions of Thursday morning. It saddens me to know that I jeopardized the welfare of the kind people of Hawaii, a community that I love and call my home.

“It is my intention to cooperate fully with the police and I am grateful to them for their sensitivity throughout this matter.

“To my friends, family, colleagues and fans, thank you for your kind words of support. To those I have disappointed I can only ask that you accept my heartfelt apologies. I am truly, truly sorry.”

LOST’s Daniel Dae Kim Jailed for DUI

Daniel Dae Kim
Looks like another LOST actor was put into jail for a while for DUI. Daniel Dae Kim, who plays Jin on LOST was jailed this morning for DUI.

I think he’s the LOST fourth actor that this has happened to. Is he going to be one of the next LOST actors to leave the show? Has it been happening because they’re leaving the show (go get drunk, and then arrested), or have the arrests caused them to be asked to leave the show?

Whatever it is, it’s disappointing.

When is LOST Coming Back?

Lost Logo

A LOT of people within the last couple of days have contacted MagicLamp.org trying to find out when LOST is coming back to TV.

LOST is not returning until February 2008. The plan is to run the show every week for 16 episodes, until the end of the season. That’s a shortened schedule (usually there are 20-24 episodes for a season for a series). The producers think that running the show every week, with no repeats will be better than doing what they did last year, which is split the season into two, or even in previous years, which is to run things, have some repeats, and then continue.

Guess Who’s Coming Back to LOST?

…SPOILERS AHEAD…

Guess who’s coming back to LOST? Cynthia’ Watros will be come back in her role as Libby in multiple episodes! Right now people are thinking that means she’ll be in flashback episodes. After last year’s finale, it could be a flash-forward. For all we know she could come back as a zombie.

Man, I hope not.

Anyway, it’ll be good to see how her whole story fits into the grand scheme of things. I suspect that Libby was a lot more sinister than we’ve been lead to expect so far.
