FlyOceanicAir.com and Find815.com – New LOST websites!

Lost Logo
There’s a new web game going on, and if you’re a LOST fan, you should be playing.

I was just watching the SciFi channel, and a “commercial” for Oceanic Air came on!

It said to go to FlyOceanicAir.com. I did. If you’ve been there before, you should go again. There’s a new message at the site.

After viewing it, go to Find815.com. There are some videos, and a couple of places to explore. I’ve gotten through all the material available so far, and I’ll be posting all the thing I’ve found on a special page tomorrow.

In the mean time, check it out!

Hidden Lost Season 4 Easter Egg

A couple of video frames after Kate speaks in the Season 4 Sneak Peek Video, many images flash by. I freeze-framed the video, and saw the following two images. One has someone looking through a broken window, which I think is likely the shack which Ben brought Locke to. The next image was of Christian (Jack’s father) sitting in a chair. The chair looks like Jacob’s chair.

Lost Shack Window

Christian In Jacob’s Chair

What could this mean? Christian is Jacob?? No, I don’t think that’s likely. I think it’s a lot more probable that Jacob is manifesting himself as Christian.

As for who or what Jacob is, that remains to be seen.

LOST Showrunner Back At Work During Strike

The Wall Street Journal has an article about “showrunners”, writers who are also producers on their shows going back to work, inspite of the writer’s strike. The reason? Well, there are two. First, they’re getting “breach of contract” letters since they haven’t been showing up for work to do their producing work. Second, they want to make sure that the integrity of the show they’re working on remains intact, and doesn’t go off in a direction they don’t want it to go in.

Who’s one of the people returning to work?

One of the most high-profile to return to producing is Carlton Cuse, a member of the WGA’s negotiating committee who is a showrunner and writer for ABC’s “Lost.” He plans to do some postproduction for the eight episodes of “Lost” that have been shot, he says. “We feel we owe that to our fans,” he says. “We would harm our franchise if we didn’t do it ourselves.”

The studios have put these people in a hard position. Get sued if they don’t fulfill their contract obligations, and maybe have a show turned over to people that aren’t going to do the show the way it was intended. For LOST, I think handing it over to others would be a real disaster, and I think Cuse is doing the right thing.

Oceanic Flight 815 Easter Egg on “Chuck”

Were you watching “Chuck” tonight? Did you catch the reference to Oceanic Flight 815?

When Chuck was being shown images, one of them triggered a response of “Ocean Flight 815 was shot down by surface-to-air…”

Interesting reference, especially for a show airing on NBC referencing a show on ABC.

Jack’s Newspaper Clipping

TV Squad the low-down fans figuring out what the text was on Jack’s newspaper clipping in the season finale of LOST:

Text of the newspaper clipping:

“The body of John Lantham of New York was found shortly after 4 a.m. in the 4300 block of Grand Avenue.

Ted Worden, a doorman at the Tower Lofts complex, heard loud
noises coming from the victim’s loft. Concerned for the tenants’
safety, he entered the loft and found the body hanging from a beam in
the living room.

According to Jaime Ortiz, a police spokesman, the incident was
deemed a suicide after medical tests. Lantham (sic) is survived by one
teenaged son.

Memorial services will be held at the Hoffs-Drawlar Funeral Home tomorrow evening.”
